Speaking at the LTE summit in Amsterdam next week on M2M LTE and the next generation SIM applications (an analyst perspective)

Speaking at the LTE world summit amsterdam 2011 in Amsterdam is the key event for LTE and now in it’s 7th Year with 2500+ Attendees from 100+ countries 150+ High-level speakers and the prestigious LTE Awards 2011!

If you are there, happy to meet up

My topic is – M2M LTE and the next generation SIM applications (an analyst perspective)
I remain optimistic about LTE and M2M and while some are still optimistic about LTE voice, I don’t see much that has changed since last year’s LTE summit.

Having said that, the MSFT-Skype deal could be disruptive but perhaps not for the Operator and new business models could emerge (could voicemail be the future of voice? )

All in all, its a very interesting time for the ecosystem and for innovation.

The agenda covers the following themes:

Pricing, Policy Control & Capacity Management Strategies for LTE
Spectrum, Regulation & Digital Inclusion
In-Building Coverage & Heterogeneous Network Management
Devices, Subscriber Management & Convergence
LTE Applications,Vertical Markets & M2M Communications
Enabling QoS Through Network Optimisation, SON & Network Intelligence

or which I will be mostly in the M2M theme
If you are there, happy to meet and BTW, I still have some speakers’ discounted passes if you are interested
